Designed and conducted a workshop on Web-based training design for Compaq.

Managed asset acquisition and client review for a CD-ROM on the supercomputing work of Los Alamos National Laboratory and other national science laboratories for the U.S. Congress.

Managed client review and consulted on educational CD-ROM product design for Harcourt/Steck-Vaughn.

  • Created and successfully managed the collaboration process among a group of 50 elementary educators in Plano, Texas and multimedia development groups around the U.S. and in Israel for production of 26 educational CD-ROM titles.
  • Many of these products have won awards for excellence in educational software, including the 1999 Texas Interactive Media Award.
  • Managed and negotiated collaboration between the Plano Independent School District and my company on all software development issues, from initial product concept through all review stages to final approval.
  • Collaborated on instructional design for all 26 products.
  • Conducted detailed review of all development stages before client review and prepared successful client review strategies to maximize product quality and client satisfaction while minimizing changes in software.
  • Planned, organized and managed on-site beta and final testing for all products.
  • Continued in this capacity through two acquisitions of the original company, Edunetics, when it was purchased by Steck-Vaughn and then by Harcourt General. Maintained the only consistent contact with the client through both of these transitions.

Managed teams of courseware authors, graphic artists and programmers to produce effective computer-based training products on time and on budget for corporate clients such as NYNEX, Ampex, IBM, Sun Oil, and GTE. Won a company award for excellence in project management for a training course for Ampex.
