Today marks a milestone in my career journey as I celebrate 28 years in Accenture. As I reflect on this journey, i want to share a perspective that has been my guiding light throughout: Always look at the glass half full.Over the years, I've learned that seeing the good in the people and situations can make all the difference. By focusing on the strengths of individuals and the positive aspects of every situation, we can better support each other and bring out the best in each other. After all, we are all made differently and everyone has their unique strengths and qualities.Similar, every company has its flaw and challenges. However, by choosing to see the good in the organisation, we can cultivate a mindset of positivity and resilience. Instead of focusing on the shortcomings, we are empowered to strive for excellence and make meaningful impact.Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey - colleagues, clients and ecosystem partners. Your support, encouragement and friendship has shaped my career on a professional and personal level. You know who you are!#WorkAnniversary #Gratitude #GrowthMIndset 💗

🌟 Reflecting on My First Job: A Journey of Growth and Gratitude 🌟As I bid farewell Accenture, where my career journey began, I'm filled with deep gratitude. Accenture has been more than just a workplace; it's been a catalyst for my personal and professional growth.Joining Accenture straight out of college was a defining moment for me. It provided me with the invaluable opportunityinto the dynamic world of cloud technology from the very start of my career. I learned firsthand about the power of scalability, resilience, rapid elasticity, and availability—fundamental pillars of the cloud domain that continue to shape industries worldwide.Beyond technical skills, Accenture has given me something priceless—an identity and confidence in my abilities. I am truly fortunate to have worked alongside brilliant colleagues and under the guidance of supportive managers who believed in my potential and nurtured my growth every step of the way.Leaving Accenture wasn't an easy decision. Experiences I've gained here are invaluable. However, I am excited about the next chapter of my career journey. To everyone at Accenture who has been a part of my journey—thank you. I joined Infosys in 2006, and I only got one promotion over the next 7 years. They sent me to Asia Pacific, Singapore, Malaysia, Europe - Belgium, and the Netherlands as an onsite and I was always told, “You are an onsite, why promotion?”This reason never made sense to me then(I was happy to be at customer site solving and finding meaningful problem and generating value )And I know the promotion reason was just an excuse. After initial 7 years I moved to the US in 2012 and saw The Great American Dream turn into a reality.and for the next 7 - Every year I got promoted because Management trusted me with hostile and complex assignments, and I always delivered.By 2019, I was the youngest Director in the company. In the almost same amount of time, I grew 10x professionally and personally in the USAHere’s my advice to anyone feeling undervalued or stuck in their career:1. Seek Environments that value contributions:This is the first step. Doesn’t matter how much you contribute, you will not grow in your career if the management doesn’t reward you for the hard work often.2. Build your case:Keep track of contributions and achievements. Use numbers to describe the impact. This will help a lot in promotions.3. Embrace Challenges:Take responsibility for complex assignments and outperform. Be disciplined , resilient and thoughtful in your approach. 4. Learn ContinuouslyYou need to upskill and work on yourself to get promoted.Introspect, find the gaps and upskill.I am what I am today thanks to the opportunity and learning which I got. For 15 years I was among 0.1% of top performers as I kept it simple. If you have tried everything and still there is no growth, you need to decide for a change.Changes are always scary, but they are crucial in life.

Cheers to 12 years with Accenture! As I reflect on my journey, all I can say is that I am grateful and blessed.I am a numbers kind of person, so let's break it down over the years: -100+ Accenture mentees 💎-15+ client projects ✈️-12 years of being involved in the ERGs 👥-8+ trainings in St. Charles (IYKYK) 🧠-6 people leads/internal managers 🌟-4 beautiful, adventurous and ENERGETIC sons 👦🏽👦🏽👦🏽👦🏽-1 supportive and patient husband 💕-1 life to live! 🎉-and countless numbers of friends, mentors, interactions that have impacted my life, career and memories! 💖One thing I told myself when I first start was, "let's see where this ride will take me." After completing my graduation in 2012, over 1.5 years of persistent effort, I secured a position with Infosys . Exactly a decade prior, on the same day, my journey in IT commenced. Since then, time has flown by swiftly. I held the assumption that hard work would automatically garner recognition, and discussing it was unnecessary. However, upon completing three years, a new project assignment brought forth a crucial lesson from my team leader, one that continues to resonate with me. They emphasized the importance of vocalizing one's aspirations, stressing that without expression, deserving opportunities may pass unnoticed. By articulating our ambitions and demonstrating a genuine interest in learning and growth, we invite clarity regarding expectations, facilitating our progress. Even if the desired outcome isn't achieved despite meeting expectations, the knowledge gained proves invaluable, shaping our journey in unforeseen ways."If you want something, just ask how to get it and then work hard to make it happen."This perspective shift not only influenced my approach to work but also extended to my personal life. Another guiding principle I've embraced and shared with others is "If you want to earn well, Learn well."These are the two most significant lessons I've learned during my 10 years in IT. I aim to carry forward this mindset into the coming years.#10years #Jobanniversary

Celebrating my 1st year work anniversary with Infosys. Sharing 🖋️ few of my learnings from this one heck of a year - 1. Willing to take risk - My move to Infosys from Otis was a decision not so easy. Working in a captive for a considerable amount of time, to back to a service company was a debatable decision. Put in simple language from being a Client to serving Clients needs a whole new mindset shift. But it was an essential move as I wanted to "explore" a new career path.Today I feel thankful I took the tough call then, as a whole new gamet of opportunities and possibilities have opened up in front of me. 2. Willing to go extra mile - There goes a saying "there is not much traffic jam on extra mile". Going out of comfort zone and putting in those grinds makes a whole lot of difference over a period of time done consistently. 3. Willing to make mistakes - This is a Big one, specially as you grow up on career the impact is bigger. But what I figured out is, it's better to be stupid to make mistakes, than being stupid not to make it. More than anything, you learn at a jet speed.4. Being Hungry - this has a do a lot when you feel passionate with what you do. Choosing what you do is very crucial, than just to keep doing what we are used-to-doing.Thanking all my colleagues for the wonderful experience in last one year in this institute of excellence called - Infosys Digital Experience Looking forward many more years of success together.Thanking all readers of my #linkdinfamily to read through this far. #celebrating #workmilestone
